Delete Account

You can request deletion of your Peekamoji account at any time. Deleting your account also removes your personal data associated with the account, subject to limited retention for security, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

Important

Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you only want certain data deleted (not the full account), use our data deletion page: https://www.peekamoji.com/delete-data.

1. How to delete your account

You can delete your account in-app, or request deletion by email. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account to prevent unauthorized deletion requests.

2. Option A: Delete your account inside the Peekamoji app

  1. Open the Peekamoji app
  2. Go to Profile → Settings
  3. Select Delete Account
  4. Confirm your request
Tip

If you signed up using a third-party login (Google/Facebook/Apple), deleting your Peekamoji account does not automatically delete your third-party account.

3. Option B: Request account deletion by email

Email us at support@peekamoji.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request”. Please include:

  • Your Peekamoji username (if available)
  • The email address or phone number associated with your account
  • The login method you used (Google, Facebook, Apple, Email, or SMS)

4. What happens after deletion

After deletion is completed, your account becomes permanently inaccessible and we delete or anonymize data such as:

  • Account data: profile details, settings, and authentication identifiers
  • User content: posts you created and associated metadata (subject to exceptions below)
  • Messages and interactions: direct messages, reactions, and engagement history (where feasible)
Note about shared content

If other users have reposted or otherwise embedded your content, some references may remain visible until those users remove them, or until content is removed as part of our moderation and retention processes.

5. Retention notice

We may retain limited information in secure system logs for up to 180 days where necessary for fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Access is restricted and the data is automatically purged on a rolling basis.
